I was a pilot with the Flying Tiger Line in 1962 and was flying the North Atlantic at the time. Eric did a great job on this book and it should have been written. We all, the ground staff, the flight crews, the office staff, the mechanics were all devastated by this crash. The Super Constellation was a wonderful airplane to fly but the engines were a different breed of cat you might say. The book is completely true and researched very well. I'm biased of course because Eric Lindner picked my brain on the experience of flying the Connie. I wasn't the only person he spoke to just one of many. If you buy this book you won't be disappointed believe me.
